The Basics Of Diabetes Symptom Type Control

Diabetes is a disease, which can allow you lead a perfectly normal life, if you take care of a few precautions and are careful about your diet. Before we go into how it is treated, let us first of all understand what the diabetes disease is. Diabetes is a disorder in which the body cannot produce enough amounts of insulin for the use of the body or cannot use the insulin already available in the body.

Insulin is a hormone that our body needs in order to convert the daily food intake into energy. Improper usage of insulin and/or lack of it can be life threatening however, even though there is no cure for diabetes there are many ways to efficiently keep it under control.  If it not checked, and the sugar increases in the blood beyond acceptable levels, this disease can be fatal.

Different Diabetes Types

There are two main diabetes types and they are type 1 and type 2. Diabetes Types 1  usually occurs in children and therefore is also known as juvenile diabetes; here the body is unable to produce the required amounts of insulin in order for the body to convert the food and sugars into energy.

Diabetes Types  2 , which is also the most common form found in most people of all ages is when the body cannot use the insulin already present in the body or is unable to produce any insulin in order to convert the food and sugar in the much needed energy for daily activities.
Common diabetes symptoms are frequent urination along with being constantly thirsty, experiencing constant hunger, weight loss, moods changes such as irritability, fatigue and sometimes blurry vision

Common Diabetes Treatment

The most common diabetes treatment for both diabetes types are: daily check ups of your insulin and sugar levels, medication to keep your sugar levels under control, strict diet that will control your sugar levels and exercising to maintain your weight constant. In both types of diabetes there are many complications that can occur from one day to another depending on your present state of health and body weight, therefore you must ensure that you conduct regular check ups and educate yourself with all the facts available about your disease.

Control Your Disease

It is not easy but with the advanced technology and medications we can successfully keep diabetes under control today however, your full cooperation is required everyday; starting from your diet to the proper exercising and checking of your blood sugar to never missing your medication. It is can be very hard to live with diabetes disease but if you are careful and mostly aware of your condition you can lead a happy, long and healthy life eating almost anything you like as long as the quantities and measured and you are keeping to your diabetes diet.

Diabetes disease can be overcome with determination and proper care. It is best to keep your family and friends fully informed about your diabetes disease so they can support and help you. There are three main factors for diabetes care, (i) right medication – with insulin, (ii) moderate exercise, and (iii) complete diabetes diet. If these three aspects are taken care of, you will not have to worry too much about the diabetes disease, because you will hardly experience it.

High Blood Pressure: Salt or Insulin? Exercise? Two New Studies

Tip! Type 2 Diabetes is the most common form of diabetes and results from insulin resistence. The above methods have been shown to be extremely helpful in maintaining insulin sensitivity, promoting lower blood sugar levels, and avoiding the complications associated with diabetes.

Nowhere in medicine is there more confusion than the issue of salt as a cause of high blood pressure. At the 2006 meeting of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, Dr. Abdul-Rahman of Newark, Delaware reported that people who lowered blood insulin levels had a significant reduction in high blood pressure even though they also markedly increased their salt intake (Endocrinology Practice, Volume 12, 2006).

These obese patients increased their daily salt intake from less than two grams a day to more than 20 grams a day. They avoided starchy and sugary foods and lost around 12 pounds in six weeks. They did not count calories. Their average blood sugars dropped from 106 to 98, average fasting insulin from 21 to 14 mu/ml and average systolic blood pressure from 96 to 88. Some of the patients were able to stop their blood pressure drugs. This study and others show that high blood insulin levels are an important cause of high blood pressure, and that these people can lower insulin levels by avoiding refined carbohydrates and losing weight.

Tip! But hypothalamic resistance to feedback signals plays a very important role in aging and insulin resistance because the hypothalamus has receptors for insulin too. I mentioned that insulin stimulates sympathetic nervous system, it does so through the hypothalamus, which is the center of it all.

If humans are like rats, those with high blood pressure will live longer when they exercise, even if their blood pressures do not return to normal. Rats can be bred to develop a genetic trait in which they develop high blood pressure, but when they exercise, they live much longer than the rats that do not exercise (Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, May 2006).

Having high blood pressure can kill you. It increases your chances of suffering a heart attack, stroke, or kidney disease. Exercise usually lowers high blood pressure because high blood pressure usually is determined by blood volume. Anything that reduces blood volume also reduces high blood pressure. That’s why diuretics are the most effective drugs to lower high blood pressure. Exercising for a few minutes usually does not lower high blood pressure, but exercising for several hours dehydrates you and usually does lower high blood pressure. This study shows that even if exercise does not lower high blood pressure in rats, it still helps them to live longer, and the same may apply to you.

Tip! One of the major causes of insulin resistance is being overweight or obese, where the excess fat effectively reduces the capacity to use the insulin for the cells to convert glucose into energy. This leads to lack of energy and lack of exercise which becomes a vicious circle to aggravate the insulin resistant conditions further.

Burn More Fat With Insulin Control: The Secret Weight Loss Switch

Tip! This inhaler is also effective during cold and upper respiratory infections but may not be that effective during pneumonia. Smokers will be excluded from taking the drug because the cells in the lungs will be already damaged due to smoking and their blood sugar could fall dangerously low with Exubera because they absorb much more inhaled insulin through their lungs than nonsmokers.

If you’re serious about losing weight and getting fit, you might be interested in what I’m about to tell you. If you’re like most people who don’t have time to do cardio exercise and weight training for a few hours a day, then you need to read on. The fat-burning secret I’m about to reveal is used by bodybuilders worldwide, and it will not only help you lose weight, but get you unhooked from the bad carbohydrates. Here’s some information you should know first:

What are the bad carbs?

If you want to keep the healthiest blood chemistry, try hard to avoid eating these foods. Some of the foods with “bad” carbohydrates include those such as white bread, chips, snacks and other baked or fried foods that have been mechanically processed. These carbs bad for you because during processing, much or all of the dietary fiber is removed from them, and your body cannot process these new complex carbs with efficiency.

What are the good carboydrates?

These are the carbs we should focus on eating. They come in more natural forms such as whole grain wheat bread, fruit like strawberries and peaches, and vegetables such as carrots, green beans or squash.

Tip! If insulin resistance runs in your family this may be the cause of your problem if not it may be as simple as lifestyle. Often time’s adults will develop insulin resistance after years of eating high starch foods as well as processed foods and too many simple sugars.

What’s the “secret” to burning more fat?

Please forgive me if I get a bit scientific here, but that’s why this method could be called a secret. Most people don’t know about how it works. The problem your body may have with burning fat during workouts is caused by the insulin hormone. This chemical is produced by your body, and it makes it very hard to burn fat. When you eat carbs in your meal before a workout, your body produces insulin. This is more extreme when you eat the “bad carbs” such as those I listed in the section above.

Tip! Remember, insulin triggers an adrenalin response. So taking in anything that further stimulates adrenalin like coffee, tea and colas will make insulin resistance worse.

The solution is to avoid carbohydrates (especially bad ones) before your workout, so that you’ve flipped on the fat-burning switch. After your workout, eat a balanced meal with good carbs and plenty of protein to stop your body from burning muscle along with fat.

And take the time to educate yourself further. Heck, if nothing else, sign up for a copy of our free newsletter at our site. Of course, we save the best stuff for our program, but we still reveal tons of killer tips in the free newsletter. We distribute it every two weeks or so. Just go to the weight loss forum and enter your first name and e-mail to receive it.

Tip! By implementing these five simple steps you will be well on your way to managing or eliminating your insulin resistance and losing weight.
